James Momsen
Director
James qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA) in 2003 after serving articles for PwC Durban. His post qualifying experience has been a mix of corporate experience and public practice. His corporate experience includes working in the telecommunications, venture capital and manufacturing spaces (including listed company experience), and gained him invaluable expertise in ERP systems implementation, large-scale project financial management and data analysis techniques.

In 2018 James started his own accounting practice, JMCA Consulting. He subsequently purchased Harold Levin & Associates in late 2021 and merged the two practices into the existing audit firm Levin Momsen Inc.
​
James enjoys adding value to his clients and provides the personal touch that his clients enjoy.
​
He is married with two kids, enjoys surfing and running in his spare time.
Faye Pillay
Audit Senior
Faye completed her B.Acc degree at the University of KwaZulu Natal in 2005. Over the years she has gained invaluable experience in credit management, debt collection, property management, bookkeeping and company secretarial work. Having attained the role of Senior Company Secretarial Assistant, Faye felt compelled to pursue her passion for financial accounting and auditing.
Faye joined Harold Levin and Associates in 2018 and was promoted to the role of Audit Senior in November 2021 for Levin Momsen Inc. She is able to offer services in audit, accounting, tax & company secretarial - ensuring clients of an all-round value-added experience. She is the office Caseware champion and keeps abreast of the latest changes in auditing software and legislation.

Faye holds a special place in her heart for dogs and spending time at the beach with friends and family. When she’s not enjoying the wonders of nature, she can be found challenging her brain by solving Sudoku puzzles.
Zamakhanya Makhanya

Hemendran Munian
Senior Accountant
Zama holds a national diploma in cost and management accounting from the Durban University of Technology.

Before joining the Levin Momsen family as a Tax administrator, Zama served her 3-year SAIPA articles and worked as a post articles clerk for 2 years. On completing articles, Zama qualified for a SAIPA professional evaluation (Board Exam) and obtained a post graduate diploma: professional accountant in practice with a designation of Professional Accountant S.A.
​
Zama enjoys working with figures and enjoys the challenge of complex problem solving. She also enjoys working in a team as a way to enhances personal growth.
​
Her hobbies include spending time with family, being outdoors on an adventure and travelling.
Hemendran joined Levin Momsen Inc. as a senior Accountant in February 2022, bringing with him a solid 10 years audit firm experience.
Hard working and tenacious, he is proficient in Caseware, Pastel, Xero, Easyfile, VAT, PAYE and SARS VAT verifications to name a few. Hemendran heads up the monthly accounting department at Levin Momsen, he believes in building strong client relationships and clients can rest assured that they are in good hands. Hemendran takes pride in his work and believes that our clients deserve nothing less than the best.

In his spare time Hemendran loves to write and uses this creative outlet to express his soul and view of the world. He also loves watching sports and chilling with some good music.

Pearlene is a Registered Accountant with SAIBA and has obtained a BCom (Accounting) Degree from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, where she also received the Golden Key Award for Top Achievers.
Pearlene has over 10 years of experience in various fields of Accounting and Taxation. She enjoys working with clients and ensuring client satisfaction in all tasks undertaken.

Pearlene is a mom, and loves spending time with her family as well as enjoying the outdoors. She is passionate about helping people - it gives her great pleasure knowing that she can make a difference in somebody’s life.
Daryl Naidoo
Audit Manager
Daryl Naidoo is an audit manager, specialising in body corporate audits. Daryl has a Bcompt degree with SAICA articles and is equipped with 6 years of audit practice experience.
His primary focus is to make the audit process as uncomplicated and efficient as possible.
Also versed in financial, tax and ancillary services, he is able to add much value to the clients he services.

When he isn’t working, you’ll find Daryl tearing up the tennis court, playing soccer or doing a very bad job of learning how to play the snooker.
